År 2008 sålde auktionshuset Bonhams en medaljong med en hårlock som sades komma från Catherine Parr, Henrik VIIIs sista hustru. Av medaljongen att döma var hon slående blond.

- I'm seldom happier than when playing around with letters, accounts and minuits left behind by people long since dead. My doctoral dissertation "Servants of Fortune - The Swedish Court between 1598 and 1721" dealt with the Swedish court during Sweden's age of greatness. At present I'm finishing a book on the Swedish court of the eighteenth century.
